LG Viewty Ku990 Vs. Samsung G800 - the 5 Megapixel Battle

The Samsung G600 5 megapixel camera phone has recently received an upgrade from the company as they have now released the new Samsung G800. The Samsung G800 is also a slider phone with a 2.4 inch 262k colour TFT screen with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. It also houses a built-in 5 megapixel camera with video recording facility. But the edge in the phone is its distinct camera features like 3 x optical zoom and Xenon flash. Music is going to get a new name with the Samsung G800. The phone carries an integrated music player and a stereo FM radio – so, you will never feel bored again. Other noteworthy features in the phone are 3G HSDPA, Bluetooth A2DP, GPRS, USB, EDGE, WAP 2.0 XHTML, HTML, 160MB shared memory, MicroSD memory card option etc.

LG Viewty is not just a simple fashion phone. The design is simplistic and user friendly no doubt, but the specifications are impressive and the features are high-tech and advanced. The touchscreen dominates the exterior. Lack of keypad makes this phone a compact device of almost the same size as the Chocolate phone. The touchscreen is made up of a glass panel with a capacitive (charge storing) material coating. The screen is sensitive to the touch of your finger. This property might sometimes prove to be quite a hassle, and you might take a while to get used to the Viewty ways.

The LG Viewty uses a Schneider Kreuznach lens to ensure high-quality optics in its 5 megapixel camera. A complete set of software complements this pretty handset. It includes a multimedia player capable of playing MP3, AAC, WMA and RealAudio sound files, as well as MPEG4, H.263 and H.264 video. The phone also boasts of a web browser with Adobe/Macromedia Flash support and a document viewer that supports text, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat file types.
